Hi! Welcome to the Rebble dev forum! Thanks for stopping by!

This forum is for everything Pebble and Pebble development related. We wanted a place for people to be able to ask questions about programming these cool watches in a way that persists in the long term, rather than just ephemerally on Discord – and a place for people to show off the super cool stuff they’re building.

You can discuss almost everything Pebble-related here: old Pebble Technology Corporation hardware, new Core Devices hardware, watchapps, firmware, hardware, companion apps, smartstraps, app stores, web services – if you want to build on it, here’s the place.

Here are some things you can do to get started:

:speaking_head: Introduce yourself by adding your picture and information about yourself and your interests to your profile. Rebble supporters and developers automatically get added to groups (if you seem to be missing yours, try logging out and logging back in?); if you like, wear the flair with pride!

:open_book: Get to know the community by browsing discussions that are already happening here. When you find a post interesting, informative, or entertaining, use the :heart: to show your appreciation or support!

:handshake: Join the conversation by posting about the Pebble projects you’re working on, asking questions, helping other people out, or offering feedback in the discussion.

And as always, please be courteous and respectful of each other here.

Yeah really good job. Appreciate all the effort the team put in.

I much prefer this over Discord. Don’t get me wrong Discord is awesome for a lot of stuff but linking to it was a pain (had to include link to Pebble Discord for people to join first then a link to my sub-channel for my app) and it not being easily searchable or indexed by search engines made it not very good.

Setting up and managing a forum is no easy task so I commend the work here.

Hi, I seem to be added to both subscribers and developers group. Although I’m honored, I don’t recall to have developed any watchface… How did that happen? :wink:

The developer status is based on the user having a developer account id associated with their account, which usually means that they at least logged into the dev portal. There’s a plan to make that more reliable based on whether or not the user has any published apps, but that’s not implemented yet

Thanks for setting this forum up! I deleted my Discord account :slight_smile: The only reason I got on Discord was to interact with the Pebble community, but I much prefer Discourse to Discord.
