Watchface: Modulite v2.0: electric boogaloo

We here at Lignite just published a huge rewrite of Modulite, which was originally published in 2016 for the Pebble Health update.

We build Modulite to be extremely… well… modular.

There are over 20 settings, which on Android update instantly (thanks to websockets!)

Try it out here: Modulite 2.0

Could you share what decisions or platform limitations made you drop support for Pebble Classic and Round?

Loving this look! Immediately grabbed it.

I ran into an issue trying to add my health stats though - is health not available on flint? This is what I see on my Android Coreapp paired to my flint watch:

I’m not the best at memory management, and this face on diorite/flint takes around 50kb of the heap, so there’s no way we could support aplite, lol…

And then for PTR, we dropped support because we simply do not have enough customer demand for supporting that watch and we do not see many photos of it on reddit and Discord. So we think it to be pretty unpopular, as much as we do love the round ourselves.

Health is supported, but only on the top & bottom stats due to size constraints. Sorry, should make that clearer in the left & right stats - I’ve made a ticket for myself to address that!

I think this is smart. Even when you do free watchface. Adding support for all platforms is very time consuming and often the same watchface doesn’t work that well on other platforms. I think of limiting number of platforms in my next project.
