There’s a new watchface on the Rebble App Store!

Colorfully Alive is a simple yet innovative and effective watch face that offers an easy-to-read time display with large digits that have independent, smooth dynamic thickness animations, making it feel alive.

With its mesmerizing color animations and visual effects, this watch face will turn heads. Expect compliments and curious glances.

Key features:

• Original interaction and configuration via taps!
• Single-color mode and multicolor mode.
• Distinctive smooth centering animation when the digit “1” appears or disappears.
• Attractive colorful animation every minute, which ends with a new color (or new colors).
• Low battery mode (≤ 10%): two vibration pulses, light grayscale mode activated, taps disabled, and tick updates reduced to minutes to save power.
• Critical battery (≤ 5%): display switches to fixed dark gray and all animations stop (time to charge!).

Tap interactions:

• A single tap activates the seconds display for six seconds.
• While seconds are displayed, a tap shuffles the colors; then the seconds blink for three seconds.
• While the seconds are blinking, a tap makes the watch vibrate (confirmation pulse) and switches mode (single-color ↔ multicolor).

• From 00:00 to 06:00 it will now behave like if in Low Battery mode: light grayscale mode, flicks disabled, and tick updates reduced to minutes.

• Disabled the two vibration pulses if the watch enters Low Battery mode between 00:00 and 06:00. No one wants a jump scare in the middle of the night!

• Another small optimization to further reduce battery consumption.

Now that I have received my watch, I was able to make the final adjustments and I took the opportunity to add two new great features!

• FIX — Added a small delay to the color animation because it was too fast on the watch even though it seemed appropriate in the QEMU emulator.

• FIX — Added one extra second when the seconds blink.

• NEW! — The display now adapts if an event appears at the bottom of the screen (aka Timeline Peek). YOU WILL LOVE THIS!

• NEW! — Indicator for Bluetooth connection loss.

• Added a custom icon for Colorfully Alive in the watch face selection menu.
