I love ultra specific things like this. The fact that it’s possible for someone to say ‘I want my watch to do this’ and to make it happen is amazing.
For anyone’s context, PuckPuck is just an AeroPress accessory that lets you slow drip cold water through coffee to extract from the grounds. It’s basically a cold brew drip coffee method.
One of the main pieces is to make sure the drip speed is within a certain range so that the coffee is extracting at the right speed to be coffee but not be too bitter.
Since they stopped selling the product they’ve also taken the app off the store but it was very simple. You just tapped the screen to the speed of the coffee drips and if it was dripping within the range you set you were all good and you left it to drip for a few hours.
This basically just replaces that but I left it generically named so it can maybe be used however someone wants to use it
(definitely not an ad, can’t buy it anymore)
I appreciate you feeling this way too. I’ve recently felt a desire to make the micro apps I want happen. It’s so nice because apps like my IkeBus schedule are something I’ll use a handful of times a year when I’m in Ikebukuro, so anywhere else I’d never bother to make an app. But here I was able to spend a couple hours before the first bus writing the entire thing in a coffee shop and now I have a useful micro app whenever I am around.
(On the flip side I’ll Tap Tap every single day so I’m glad it now exists on my watch)
What units is the value? Taps per minute?
It’s just taps per minute yeah. It’d probably be good to explain that it’s per minute. I’ll try to get a “tpm” text in there or something. Good question!
