There’s a new watchapp on the Rebble App Store!

Turn-by-turn directions from your phone’s nav app, on your pebble.

PebbleNTN reads your navigation app’s notifications and shows the next turn, distance, road, and ETA on your Pebble. No need to reach for your phone!

• Google Maps supported now, more coming soon
• Accent colours, light/dark, and three arrow styles
• Metric/imperial, left- or right-hand arrow
• Write your own rules, or share logs to help add new apps

Requires the companion Android app with notification access.

I installed both the watch app and the phone app but can’t get it to work with a Google Maps navigation route. The phone app was granted the necessary permissions.

Hi, do you see in the phone companion app any logs under ‘Debug history?’ I’m currently debuggin some rare cases where the notifications are not detected. Please also try with the latest 0.0.13 version of the watchapp and companion app.

• Google Maps Fix: Lowered the priority of localized ARRIVE notifications so that maneuver instructions are matched first (Thanks L0renz00!)

Please share your debug logs if you experience missing notifications with any of these apps or other navigation apps.

Also the mobile app has also been updated to encourage including street names in debug logs, as troubleshooting is very difficult without them. The option to share fully anonymized logs is still available, and these logs are also valuable for improving the app.
