Pedal with Pebble by Paul Bouillon
There’s a new watchface on the Rebble App Store!
Pedal with Pebble is a lively animated watchface that brings a cycling scene to life every time you look at your watch.
Watch Thomas ride through a scrolling street with various landscapes, while the sky shifts from day to night based on real sunrise and sunset times.
Thomas is wearing his brand new Pebble Time 2 on his wrist. It may be hard to spot his watch given the size of the screen, but trust me : there is one.
The weather comes alive too : clouds, rain, fog, snow, ice, and storms are all displayed in real time based on actual weather in your location.
Features :
Smooth scrolling animated street scene
Dynamic day/night sky with the sun, stars and moon phases
Live weather effects: clouds, rain, fog, snow, ice, storm
Fun animations when you shake the watch (only on Pebble Time 2 and Round 2)
Configurable info panels (date, temperature, steps, battery)
Energy-saving sleep mode after a period of inactivity
Customizable clock color
Compatible with all color Pebble models : Time, Time 2, Round and Round 2.
The watchface is pretty well optimized, so even if the display updates every second, you can expect many days of battery life. I implemented an energy saving mode so that the display updates only once per minute when no movement is detected (during the night for example).
“Pedal with Pebble” is a reference to an old slogan from the early Pebble days, back when it all started. Thanks to Eric for posting a photo of a t-shirt with this slogan last year, it inspired me to create this watchface.
If you have already tried my famous game FitCat, you may also have seen some references to it.
If you enjoy it and want to show your support for future updates, give it a heart !
Go check it out in the App Store!
