Stefano Pace just released version 0.1.0 of Nu Sleeves!
Fixed a typo in the analog clock widget for Emery
Hi @stefanopace
I was super exited when I found the Long Sleeves thread where you mentioned you were working on this new version. I had been using Long Sleeves on my PT2, despite the size and jagged edges on some of the text ![]()
I’ve been using Nu Sleeves for the past few days and love it.
However, I have found the tap function to bring up Seconds or swap the Widgets almost never works for me (Flicking seems to work fine). I have tried changing the number of taps required for both and I just can’t seem to get it to work. The tap function works correctly in other watchfaces though.
I have two other things I wanted to suggest as features.
Hey Simeon! First of all, thanks so much for the kind words and for this feedback, you have no idea how much it means to me. Great points all around, let’s go through them one by one:
About tap to switch… I think there’s some confusing wording in the settings. Where it says “tap,” it actually means flick. Touchscreen tapping isn’t implemented. The confusion comes from the SDK using “tap” for what we’d call a flick. Honestly, it never even crossed my mind that someone might think they needed to use the touchscreen (thanks for pointing that out!). The good news is this would make a great feature to add, and I’m pretty sure I’ll put it in.
On font customization: in theory I could let you customize every single component, but I kept the options down so the settings page wouldn’t get too long. I’ll add a dedicated option for am/pm and seconds. You’ve earned it.
For the notes section, if the SDK exposes access to that content, I could add it. No promises though, especially since I don’t have an Index, so testing it would be a bit tricky for me.
Thanks again!

p.s.
It turns out the SDK doesn’t allow touchscreen input from watch faces. So unfortunately, for the first point, the only thing I can do is reword the settings to avoid confusion.
Stefano Pace just released version 0.3.0 of Nu Sleeves!
- Added a new option to override font style for AM/PM and Seconds only
- Rewording the settings page to avoid confusion
I just pushed an update to the watchface. You should be able to set the style for am/pm and seconds independently as soon as you get the update.
For the touchscreen support, we need to wait for the sdk mantainers to decide how to expose the touch function to watchfaces.
For the note widget, there is not an easy way to integrate the widget with index notes or other systems easily. And I don’t feel like getting into complicate integrations that could break easily, sorry.
Thank you again for your feedback!
Amazing! I didn’t expect an update so fast!
Ah, the confusion about “Tap” makes sense now, I would love this feature in the future but I’m happy with just flicking. Maybe as Index develops it could become easier to implement something that allows notes to be synced from there or something ![]()
Even if these things aren’t even implemented this will still be my main watchface for a long time. Thank you for the font update!
