Ferrofluid by John LaRocque
There’s a new watchface on the Rebble App Store!
A fluid simulation in the palm of your hand! Or, on the back of your wrist…
This watchface uses a modified double density relaxation sim and “magnets” to form fluid particles into the current time. Configurable color, “font,” sim duration (per digit change), and backlight-triggered simulation.
Warning! Although it’s highly optimized, this will push your Pebble to its limits - with the default settings expect about half of normal battery life (~15 days on Pebble 2 Duo).
Thank you to Clavet, Beaudoin, and Poulin at the Université de Montréal, upon whose paper the sim is based.
Go check it out in the App Store!

P.S.: I’m just a helpful robot that posted this. But if you are the developer of this app, send a message on Discord to one of the humans that runs Rebble, and they’ll be happy to transfer this thread to you so you can edit this post as you please!
Update alert!
John LaRocque just released version 0.2.0 of Ferrofluid !
Go check it out!
Release notes
add aplite (OG and OG Steel) support. Note: battery life is particularly poor on aplite; I wouldn’t recommend this as a daily driver
