AtomWave v2.0.0 | The Eco-Flow Update

Version 2.0.0 introduces a significant architectural overhaul focused on maximising battery efficiency and enhancing visual information density. The core logic has been reimagined to transform AtomWave into a highly efficient daily driver while retaining its physics-based aesthetic.

Changelog:
Hourly Water Cycle: The fluid simulation now visualises the progress of the current hour (0–60 minutes) rather than the 24-hour day. This adjustment provides a more dynamic display and significantly improves the intuitive readability of elapsed minutes.

Eco-Flow Optimisation: The animation scheduler has been completely rewritten. Render loops for wave physics and particle effects have been adjusted from a minute-by-minute interval to a 15-minute cycle. This reduces CPU wake-ups by over 90%, resulting in drastically extended battery life.

Physics Engine Update: Implemented validation logic for dynamic assets. Hidden details and moving objects now perform a collision check against the current water level and are only rendered if the physical environment allows it (e.g. objects will no longer appear in “air”).

Time-Synced UI: Introduced a transient text element that appears momentarily at the turn of the hour (minute zero).

SDK 4.0 Compliance: Full migration of the project structure to package.json standards for modern build compatibility.

Core Features:

Smart Contrast: Typography automatically inverts colours when submerged to ensure perfect readability.

Battery Reactive Fluids: Water colour indicates battery status on supported devices (Ultramarine >50%, Chrome Yellow >20%, Shocking Pink <20%).

Emery Support: Native optimisation for the Pebble Time 2 high-resolution display.
