IKEBUS Timetable by James Downs

There’s a new watchapp on the Rebble App Store!

Displays the timetable for the IKEBUS, the slow rolling electric bus that roams Ikebukuro.

View the red or blue route times to see the next arrival time of a bus at a stop, all the times for that stop, then all the stop times for that bus. The “Next stop” updates in real time while the app is open.

The timetable is stored locally which means I’m responsible for pushing updates as it changes, which I’ll try to keep up on.

This is more like a 0.1 release because while I tested it and it worked on the bus rides I took, I wrote it in the morning while getting coffee waiting for the first bus to arrive.

I expect approximately 0 overlap between anyone else with a Pebble and anyone looking for this app, but I need this constantly when I’m in the area to keep track of the bus and make my day passes worth it.

Most of this came from re-use of code I already did with Kagi News since it’s just menus on menus and hopefully I can use this to generify the menu layer I wrote a bit more so I can reuse it in any app I need menus for.

Future updates will add localization and the ability to mark if you saw the yellow bus. Content size support is already in because I just copied it from Kagi News.
